Financial Report
As of October 20, 2000, the Coastal Plains Chapter has $10,768 in the coffers. Our whole membership should be proud of this and the work our Treasurer, Dwain Waters has done, kudos to Dwain. Of course, we will shortly be spending $1200 of this for our next round of Environmental Stewards College Scholarships available from OWCC, PJC and UWF. Finally, on the QEP Dennis Mitchell has been confirmed as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Institute of Environmental Practices. This group is the certifying body for the Qualified Environmental Professional. Supporting institutions include the Water Environment Federation, the American Industrial Hygiene Association, American Academy of Environmental Engineers, National Association of Environmental Managers, the National Association of Environmental Professionals and the Solid Waste Association of North America.
