The format of the Coastal Plains Chapter Newsletter has changed. The change has been necessitated by the introduction of our own website. I hope everyone likes the change. As always, your comments are appreciated.

Yes, we now have our own website. Dwain Waters spent a good deal of his time getting our website up and running, he deserves a big thank you. A few more changes will be forthcoming over the next few months as we adapt to your suggestions. Please feel free to visit the site.

Elections
Now that we have endured through the country’s political process, it is time for the Coastal Plains Chapter to elect new Board Members. We have four positions open, three are for Board Members whose terms have expired; that is Bruce McLeod, Dennis Mitchell and Richard Lee. In addition, John Caine has regretfully had to tender his resignation due to extended time being spent traveling and other diversions. We would like to thank all these gentlemen for their time and efforts over the past few years. Hopefully, we can persuade a couple of them to stay on. All members are encouraged to provide nominations for these Board seats. Please supply your nominations to any of the Board Members by e-mail, fax or phone.
