Chapter Meeting
On February 17th a luncheon was held at Landry's Seafood with Mr. Mark Triplett, P.E., Director of Escambia County's Dept. of Solid Waste Management as our guest speaker. Over twenty people listened to Mark describe the state of the landfills and his hands-on approach to managing 42 employees and a $9 million dollar budget. With Mark's ideas for the future, it appears the County Commissioners made a good choice in awarding the Landfill Management Contract to the Escambia Department of Solid Waste.
