Joint Florida/Alabama Technical Conference Friday, May 18, 2001 our annual technical conference will take place at the Gulf Power Addison Auditorium from 0800 to 1700. Early registration fees are $35 for members and $45 for non-members and it is strongly encouraged. Aside from the engaging speakers and technical presentations, you will be provided with Lunch, Door Prizes, Vendor Exhibits and a Hospitality Hour. This year there is no excuse for not attending the Hospitality Hour because, the meeting coincides with Pensacola’s annual Springfest celebration; so for you folks from out of town, this is a great weekend to come attend the Conference and then enjoy Pensacola’s ambiance. The program will focus on the latest air issues of the new millennium, as well as, new developments in the areas of storm water, wetlands, and remediation. Orlando 2001 The Florida Section Board is proud to sponsor the A&WMA 94th Annual Conference & Exhibition, June 24-28, 2001. The Coastal Plains Chapter is looking to organize carpools or some type of transportation for members. Any input you or your company may have on this subject would be greatly appreciated. We hope to exchange ideas on transportation at the upcoming General Meeting and the Technical Conference. The Florida Section Local Host Committee is still actively seeking various sponsorships for programs at the International Conference.
