D. Waters received a letter from International Paper asking if the Chapter is still looking for scholarship funding. D. Waters will fill out the form and submit it.

Fifth Agenda Item: New Business)
Proposal from Jennifer Ponson (PJC)
The Chapter has been asked to help fund the PJC Environmental Summer Camp for children for 2003. The Chapter supported the Camp last summer and was pleased with how the money was used. Last summer we donated $500 for the purchase of course materials. A copy of the 2003 request was circulated for the Board’s review. D. Mitchell was in favor of supporting the request but felt that the event and the sponsors need to receive more publicity. Discussion was positive. D. Waters made a motion that the Chapter support the PJC Summer Camp in the amount of $500 for the purchase of course materials. D. Mitchell second the motion. Motion passed.

C. Arnold will contact J. Ponson about attending the Technical Conference and speaking about the Camp.
